What to expect
A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area prior to the procedure. The plasma pen device creates tiny plasma arcs on the skin surface, causing the skin to contract and tighten. Small carbon crusts (scabs) will form on the treated area — these are a normal part of the healing process and will fall off naturally within 5–10 days.
Aftercare
Keep the treated area clean and dry. Do not pick or scratch the carbon crusts — allow them to fall off naturally. Avoid sun exposure and wear SPF 50+ on the treated area for at least 3 months. Avoid makeup on the treated area until fully healed.

How long do results last?
Results can last 2–3 years or longer, depending on the individual's skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. The treatment stimulates long-term collagen production.
Is there downtime?
Yes. The carbon crusts that form after treatment will be visible for approximately 5–10 days. Most clients take a few days off work or social activities during this period.
Is it painful?
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimise discomfort. Most clients describe a mild heat sensation during the procedure.
