What to expect
A topical numbing cream may be applied before treatment. The booster is injected into the skin using a fine needle or cannula. The treatment takes approximately 30–45 minutes. You may experience some mild redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection sites immediately after treatment — these typically resolve within 24–48 hours.
Aftercare
Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for 6 hours after treatment. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and sun exposure for 24 hours. Keep the skin well moisturised.
